Jump forward to 24:22 to see the opening shot of the American flag-- Bell Labs didn't bother to include the cattle drive or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, but at 25:55, President Kennedy appears and makes his statement that Telstar is "another indication of the extraordinary world in which we live... this operation, developed by private industry, launched by government, in admirable cooperation.
